The KAGE Museum of Microphotography
An Journey into another World
The KAGE Museum of Microphotography is open to visitors of all kinds. We run guided tours and hold presentations for visitor groups from universities, institutes, firms, clubs, schools and private groups in our “studio” Weissenstein Palace. Take a journey into another world.
This is what the KAGE Museum has to offer:
- Extensive collection of preparations from medicine, bacteriology, botany, zoology, crystallising substances etc.
- Extensive collection of framed Cibachrome photo works and prints of all sizes for exhibitions in museums, galleries etc. Subjects: Nature – Medicine – Technology – Science-Art
- Microscope exhibition on the history of microscopy and microphotography
- Complete exhibition “Microorganisms – the slightly different cosmos” with 26 photo panels – 90 x 150 cm –
- Corresponding illustrative material for around 10 display cabinets to deal with the history, development and significance of microorganisms on our planet
- Accompanying film material, live video presentations of microorganisms etc.
